Eight years ago I lost a good friend on Valentine’s Day, and each year on this day I can’t help but to think about Zan and her family and close friends. I try to honor her memory by doing something she did so well which was make people smile. Yesterday I was invited to join my buddy Mike (who built my site) at the assisted living center where his girlfriend works, and dance with some of the elderly ladies during their Valentine’s Day party. It definitely forced me out of my shell, yet was something I know Zan would have done without hesitation. The reason I write this is that Zan’s memory still lives in me just as much as it does in the efforts her foundation. Check out her story, as well as the efforts and goals it has achieved. If anything, reflect on the people and things you are thankful for in your life and never forget to give back.
